Looks like my First Out prediction might not be so wrong after all
Autosport has learned (not exclusively learned or first to reveal, just learned) that McLaren will not be providing Lewis Hamilton with major car upgrade planned for Silverstone this weekend. However, Hamilton is keeping the faith. Well, if I had his pay check, I’d be able to keep the faith as well, mate.
No work on that other guy that races for the team. You know the blonde one, looks like Bevis, use to run for Renault. What was his name again? It’s right there on the tip of my tongue…
Hamilton:
You never know what is going to happen. Maybe there will be some new parts, or the team will understand what is slowing us down in the high speed corners – you just never know. You always have to remain hopeful and keep the faith, and hope that it gets better. Realistically, we don’t have the pace to go out and win, and arriving into a race that we arrived at last year and won to now, going in hoping to get into the top 10, is definitely a difficult approach. But we will keep our heads down and keep battling away and just hassling it at the moment to get to the front.

You mean the great Corn-holio, Beavis? “I need teepee for my bung-hole” :) Interesting reference. Kov is really a grown up Beavis.
I hope they find some downforce on the back of the car… I’m starting to feel bad for McClaren. They won’t throw the towel in on the season yet, or will they?
Why on earth spend money on a motor that is unresponsive to attempts at improvement, especially when you are so busy off the field and when the deadline for your teams exclusion from the sport will have expired.
Much better to concentrate on next year’s exciting championship.
I just saw that Heikki IS getting an improved drive for Silverstone: He’ll be in a double-decker London bus. Apparently, the handling is supple.
Didn’t Top Gear prove that the single decker is the best on a race track?
