A) From "Professionalism" perspective YES
B) From "Driver Equality" perspective YES
C) From "Driver favoritism" perspective NO

Time for McLaren to come clean in that case and never ever claim A) and B)

I am p##d off at this team, ever since their shabby 2006 season management effectively meant to evacuate Kimi & JPM from the team and not giving them chance to improve their chances in driver's market.

I never was a Ferrari Fan and did see the Red Rule in 2000-06 era. But they didn't play clumsy oafs after signing Alonso. Kimi got enough support from the team to tidy up his resume and enter drivers market again.

If someone offers me McLaren-Vs-Ferrari Gear this holiday season as gift, I wouldn't mind wearing "Gangsta Rappa" Kimi Raikonnen Ferrari Hat :P

@SJ Skid - About the Hamilton/Whitmarsh incident, I actually pointed that incident to my friends as the one that shows Hamilton's status in the team. The feed picked up some of the conversation between the team boss and the driver.
(Probably only other driver in F1 who got this kind of treat was Herr Schumacher.)
Any other driver in paddock who has serious ambitions to win WDC will not move to McLaren. That scene clearly marked McLaren as "Hamilton team"

With one more car still on track, Whitmarsh's position should have been on the Pitwall and not pacifying and clarifying their #1 Driver. I wonder if someone had rushed to Kovy last year in China when the team loaded wrong tires on the car resulting in retirement.

That scene was also important from the perspective of "What every capable driver needs to be successful in F1, to be able to help team in achieving its goals" and that is "Confidence in team".

Lewis has been lucky to have this since he grew up in the team as "Boss's Boy" Consider kind of flack any other driver would have got after the steering fumble in Brazil'07, Fuji'08 and recently at Monza'09. But the kid knows that the team is 110% behind him.

If any of the Hamiltons break that McLaren Trust it would be sad thing to see

The Speed TV quartet mentioned that... I haven't seen anything "solid."

But, what -- all the question marks don't suggest you're saying that would be bad, do they? :)
