I agree. Some of the rumours surrounding Flav don't paint him in the best light. He really seems to make his drivers feel like second class citizens. Even Alonso doesn't look to want to be at Renault, I believe he only went back there because he had no choice after the McLaren debacle.

My personal opinion is Flavs poor treatment of his drivers was a factor in Mark Webber choosing Williams over Renault.

Like someone said in another post, if anyone was to go up against Max it should be Flav. I would also put Ron Dennis in the same group but he lost too much cred when he was caught in the middle of *thinks*... Mental blank... Something-gate.

What concerns me about Todt's first "major" statement is he is basically taking over from where Max left off (should I be suprised)?

"...confirms that the decision to impose a sanction against Mr Briatore was made by an overwhelming majority of the attending World Motor Sport Council members".

That statement could have come straight from the "Pen of Max".

Flavio is a man of action, he will certainly use all his power links to tie mad max in bondage (and whip him, maybe).I personally never liked Flavio's attitude and outlook but he certainly was punished to a great extent. I don`t have enough information on why Michael quit Benetton in his time but it certainly goes against Mr.Briatore
