This article = Epic Win.

Agreed on the Ferrari/Batracer issue, typical of a big coporation like them to just say "stuff them" rather than see if they can work together.

Regarding merchandising, I have been wanting a Mark Webber cap for a long while now, and for christmas my wife was looking to get one for me. Unfortuantly, the only one available on the RedBull website has #14 on it... Its not even current. All they have for Webber is a shirt and a cap. LAME!!

I think Ross Brawn has seen the #1 on his cars enough at Ferrari. But I agree, it would've been nice to see the Brawns next season running the 1 and 2.

I read the title and thought it'd be a place where Andy would want to requiem and apologize on all the things HE had done wrong. Then again, I'm the guy that predicted that Kimi would definitely win at least 10 races in 2009. Ture story. It's somewhere in the forum.

No, great idea Andy. And kudos for making fun of the term 'Fail'. Spot on indeed.

- silly season: never had one really. I mean a proper mid-august to monza silly season.
- merchandising and team name changes: awesome. Reference to Henry Lloyd: even better. A #24 nascar hat will never become obsolete. I know you guys touched this issue in a podcast long ago. F1 just can't capitalize on fan loyalties when it comes to us buying stuff. Funny story: I won a 240$ coat at my F1 pool this season. Hesitated between 3 teams to chose from. Picked the one I wanted. Turns out the other 2 teams don't exist anymore. Pheeeew.
- Batracer thing and Ferrari: don't know anything about this game. But I thought that their agreeing to finally include their cars in the Gran Turismo franchise was a hint of their newly found openness regarding their upper-class brand. Clearly it wasn't. Sorry for you guys.
- contract and money thing: from my short term knowledge of F1, I don't recall a time where we've seen that many money issues as being the main reason preventing drives to certain teams. Money is what knocked Kimi out. Money is what will prevent Ross Brawn to look at his car bearing the #1 on it all season long. (would have been nice for him; he fully deserved to run the #1 car once more)

Anyway, good job. Mr. Middlemore. The way things go, you'll have material for FEF #2 in no time.
