JPM calls it like he sees it

[Warning, there is a four-letter word in here, but I'm quoting JPM.]
For those of you who don’t follow Juan Pablo Montoya on Twitter (you’re missing out on what he’s eating and when he’s going to sleep!), he just passed on a “Tweet” that I found interesting.
At the time of writing this, it was about 15 minutes ago [as it notes]:
jpmontoya
Had a shitty qualifying…. the car is really fast but got loose into 1 and just sucked from there 15 minutes ago from Tweetie
I’m — we’re — no NASCAR experts, but from a little checking, I believe he is referring to the Ford 400 at Homestead [what, no Swanson's Hungry Man 400 presented by Bayer?]. JPM is 23rd out of 43 drivers. His qualifying speed was 171.162 mph. By comparison, Jimmie Johnson — gunning for his fourth straight championship — clocked in at 173.919 mph.
You have to appreciate his candor. [Although he also is suggesting to his competitors that the car has more speed, so there's a little psychological warfare going on, perhaps.]

I just became an even bigger fan of Monty. :)
When has Montoya ever not been this way? That’s part of why his fans love him. It certainly adds a comical perspective into his time at McLaren.
In McLaren, everybody is not their self, I’m sure they have “Ron Dennis Mould” in that Glittering Woking building, every new hire is squeezed in the mould in their induction session and they walk out Not being themselves.
Like square pegs in round hole – and more often then not either the peg or the bench has damaged.
Ron should stick to Lewis Model, one from Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, to breed personnel of all levels in a F1 lab
I’ve never followed NASCAR until Montoya went there. He’s so much fun to read and watch. He’s very candid and honest and I guess that’s what makes me a fan of his and a fan of NASCAR. I’ve only been watching F1 for about 2 years so I missed this kind of stuff during his time there. But I enjoy following JPM :).
Same here I “rejoined” F1 after an hiatus on back his dazzling CART exploits and followed him to NASCAR, a series which I never appreciated/understood (not that I completely do now). But JPM definitely has added another dimension to that series.
