RD1 on Thanksgiving.

Good day everyone. Since this week is one of the greatest holidays ever invented in the Unites States, you still get a column but its going to be a little shorter and perhaps a little more thought provoking. Instead of the ususal bit of text I call insightful, I’m going to present a couple of questions to you the reader that I also find insightful into this sport we call Formula 1. Enjoy.

Question 1: Why is the WMSC making us wait until January to tell us the The Flav is still banned from F1? Really, like the answer is going to change by making him and all the rest of wait for the obvious?

Question 2: Did N. Technology really think not only that the team picking process was fair but also that they’d win in court? Really, like that was ever going to happen?

Question 3: Why does Force India pretent that its going to consider other drivers when it really just sticks with the one it had from the previous season? I know its PR but the best PR is winning. Not this kind of slight of hand stuff.

And finally: Good to see Peter Sauber back in the sport full time. I think if there was a time for F1B to get into the sport, it’s now. What do you guys think?

Happy Thanksgiving to those here in the States. For those of you in Canada – sorry I missed yours but have a belated happy turkey day. And to the rest of you who don’t celebrate this awesomeness that is turkey and football – you should get on that. Until next week – RD1 out.

Hey Grace! good idea for a column (I may steal it sometime :) ), but it’s not the WMSC that’s making us wait for the Flav decision, it’s a proper French court. He appealed to the regular judicial system of France because there is no one higher in the FIA hierarchy to appeal to, and the FIA is subject to French law. It usually takes civil courts that long or longer to actually publish their decisions, so the timing, while annoying, is perfectly normal.

Well I guess that makes sense.. although I still think the outcome will be the same… thanks for keeping me straight and feel free to use it anytime you’d like!
