F2 champ leads first test day

F2 70Maybe that Formula 2 series is worth something after all.

Spanish driver Andy Soucek, testing at Jerez for Williams after claiming the F2 crown this year, led the pack after the first day of F1 testing.

Paul di Resta in a Force India was second fastest.

    Pleased to see Di Resta doing well, despite only getting into the car for the afternoon. Whereas the much hyped Hartley looks a little out of his depth…

    Bianchi in 5th in the Ferrari that no one can drive just a tenth or so behind the Red Bull driver and ahead of the Brawn test drivers.
    But still, Soucek did quite impressive in the Williams.
