The FIA released its 2010 F1 entry list on Monday, and Bruno Senna is pleased with the number he’s received.
In an update on his Twitter account a few minutes ago, Senna announces:
BSenna
Nothing like coming back to the number that I had on my first successful year in motor racing! Good memories from ‘06 in British F3 with #21 2 minutes ago from web
Looking at the FIA release, I think Senna must have requested it from his Campos team because — unlike the other one-driver teams — he’s listed in the team’s second car. The other drivers, Nico Rosberg, Robert Kubica, Sebastien Buemi and Timo Glock, all are in the team’s “No. 1″ car.
Of course, as some folks have noted, it is the No. 22 car he should have worked his way in — it’s captured the drivers championship two years in a row now.
Some USF1 driver ought to get your bet.

SJ, that made me laugh so hard man. Thanks.
Another possible reason for B. Senna to choose #21, is that one of his major sponsors (Embratel) has the number 21 as its symbol.
It refers to a code we Brazilians have to use to make calls between two different cities. Their motto in the add ends with something like “Make a 21″. Don’t you think it fits very well too?
Love this blog, keep up the good job.
Thanks for that interesting tidbit on Embratel and #21. Campos/Senna must have surely pulled some interesting strings to make this happen.
