Wednesday, Rubens Barrichello visited the Williams factory for another tour and to, presumably, make friends and acquaintances with the team, for whom he will drive in 2010. This bit of information comes not from an official Williams press release, but Barrichello’s personal Twitter profile.

While certainly not breaking news, it is always nice for fans to get a glimpse into the life of a Formula1 driver, and what he finds interesting. Barrichello posted three pictures from the factory, one of which was a shot of his motorhome, in which he slept, in the parking lot of the factory.

It is a bit hard to believe that there is no facility at Williams for drivers or visitors of a certain stature to stay in comfort, as the famous Ferrari set of apartments is called to mind. Still, Barrichello seemed happy enough and enthusiastic about “camping” at his new team.
Similarly, Barrichello posted two other pictures, one of topiary at the garden in the factory, complete with tire changers and a front jack man, but no re-fueling as is appropriate for the 2010 regulations.

He also posted a picture from the factory museum, of a car from the early eighties.

As a note, Barrichello said earlier that he would be visiting Cosworth Wednesday, so keep watching his profile for continued pictures, both of his family, and possibly of the factory itself. Still under contract with Brawn, Barrichello also noted that he could not post pictures from Qatar until the contract was completed.
