Red Bull gives its holiday shout-outs

I think Todd and Grace were planning something similar; now, I don’t know what they will do.

redbull70Red Bull has holiday greeting videos up from its “drivers” here. They are worth a look because it does show another baby step toward Formula 1 and its teams fully embracing the possibilities the Internet creates.

Red Bull has been among the most tech-savvy teams when it comes to public relations; the fact that its culture is more youth-oriented probably has helped. A few of its press releases have been on the verge of snarky.

In a more strategic way, Ferrari also makes good use of its web presence to get its version of the news out. A lot of Ferrari stories you will see in all manner of F1-related media originate from Maranello’s press releases, including Luca di Montezemelo’s statements about Michael Schumacher this week.

Let us know what you think of this latest from Red Bull.

Redbull has always been fan friendly, so I am not surprised honestly. In fact their Red Bulletin is probably the only venue I have found on races that I have visited, giving accessibility to “Common Fan”. Other wise to get closer to F1 team one always needs to “Know someone”
