Braking news from FIA, the 2014 series will see the engines turned up to 18,000 RPM and refuelling re-introduced for the upcoming Spanish GP.
An FIA representative said, “Due to the complains were are receiving from fan, venue hosts and Formula 1 drives, we have decided that we no longer want to be the laughing stock of the motor racing world and we will now make quick changers to the sport.”
“As of the Spanish GP we will implement the changers.”
Teams are shocked regarding the news but also can see the benefit of the change.
“This needed to happen as I am sick and tired of hearing my team principle biting on his nails throughout the race in my headphones, “said one of the RedBull Engineers.
Pirelli also acknowledged that their tires will have to be changed and will be introducing a new tire by Silverstone.
“This has come as a shock but we are committed to the sport and the well being of the sport,”
The last time Refuelling was permitted was in 2009.
