Turns out 2009 was a good year for Jenson Button for reasons off the track as well as on it.
Button made his way onto Sports Illustrated’s list of the top 20 non-American athletes in terms of earnings (combined from winnings and endorsements).

Just ran across a list of the 12 highest paid people in America for 2009; Nascar’s Dale Earnhardt Jr. squeaked onto the list, which maybe was expanded to include him? Why not stick with the top 10, I wonder.
