Middle East and Asia-based stock car series Speedcar has apparently hung it up according to GMM and the disappearance of their web site. After two seasons and drivers including Jacques Villeneuve, Jean Alesi, Johnny Herbert, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Vitantonio Liuzzi seems to have fallen prey to the economic crunch felt worldwide.
