A press announcement had just been released by the national and local governments in Canada, confirming that the Canadian GP will be held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.

Monaco date moved, Brazil back to final spot

It still remains provisional, but the 2010 Formula 1 calendar has been tweaked yet again and now awaits final approval.
The big news, as mentioned here before, is that Monaco is set to move one week earlier than originally planned and the big event will take place on May 16.

In a statement separate from that announcing the Renault “Crashgate” punishments, the FIA today also released the 2010 provisional calendar, which will start in Bahrain but end, once again, in Brazil. [Any reason to think that is a positive sign about a Felipe Massa comeback?]

According to Speed TV, Bernie Ecclestone, F1 CEO, met with the teams prior to the European Grand Prix and showed them a calendar for 2010. It included 18 races and counted Canada as one of them.
