As we reported at F1B today, the first level of French court justice overturned the bans on defamed, former Renault team principle Flavio Briatore and ousted technical director Pat Symonds. The FIA had issued a ban for messrs. Briatore and Symonds for their involvement in the 2008 Singapore crash scandal.

N. Technology’s parent company MSC had filed suit against the FIA regarding their selection process for awarding grid positions for the 2010 season. That bid was unsuccessful, as it turns out, to prove any wrongdoing on the FIA’s part. At least the court rejected all points made by MSC.

The FIA today, following the Guardian’s getting a hold of some of Flavio Briatore’s court claims, released a short statement denying Flavio’s apparent claims and denouncing the leak:
