The one guy I really, really like in Indycar (unfortunately as I would prefer him in F1) is Dario Franchitti. Great news then that Dario has just clinched his second Indycar Championship title today at Homstead Florida.

Dario Franchitti’s return to open-wheel racing int eh Indy Car series has netted a victory at the Long Beach Grand Prix. The race was a good race to watch and very eventful with fuel playing a large role in the strategy.

Dario Franchitti loses ride

Unfortunately Dario Franchitti has lost his ride in NASCAR due to a lack of a sponsor. Apparently Chip couldn’t secure a main sponsor for the car and has pulled the plug on the entire team. You can read about it here. Anyone need an Indy 500 winner?
