Briatore strikes back at FIA

Claiming his case and actions are public, Flavio Briatore on Friday shot back at the FIA over its condemnation of the leak of documents in his lawsuit involving the 2008 Singapore GP.
The secrecy, he further argues, is all on the FIA’s side.

Breaking: Google ordered to pay Barrichello $500,000

Google has been ordered to pay Rubens Barrichello $500,000 in damages because one of its social networking sites hosted fake profiles of the now Williams driver, according to Agence France-Presse.

Force India wins $4.6 million in suit against sponsors

Former Force India sponsors Eithad and Aldar today were ordered to pay the team $4.6 million in compensation for terminating their deals after the team made its switch from Spyker to Force India.

I recall Bernie Ecclestone saying last year that the FIA should just be a regulatory body governing the sport but they should not be making the rules that would impact the commercial side of things. The only reason that comment came to mind is after reading a very good story at Pitpass.
