Report: Lotus landing $9-million Petrobras deal

Lotus has landed a $9-million sponsorship deal with Petrobras and should start running with the Brazilian oil company’s logo at the Spanish Grand Prix, James Allen is reporting.
Nothing has been officially announced, Allen writes, but his sources tell him it’s all tied up and solidified.

Google has been ordered to pay Rubens Barrichello $500,000 in damages because one of its social networking sites hosted fake profiles of the now Williams driver, according to Agence France-Presse.

Rubens Barrichello inched closure to confirming his seat with Williams next season, saying the outfit is “one of the best teams out there – and they are on the way up.”
The Brazilian is expected to officially come aboard following this weekend’s race, Autosport is reporting (along with the above quote).
