There’s some bad news circulating for Kimi Raikkonen’s Formula 1 fans.
Citroen racing chief Olivier Quesnel over the weekend talked about the possibility that a good year in rally could see Kimi promoted to the outfit’s top team, making the switch to the World Rally Championship a permanent one.

For all my desire to see the “Red Bull and Vodka” team in Formula 1, I have to admit that it seems a better, more appropriate fit for the somewhat wilder and more “extreme” world of rally racing.

As expected, Robert Kubica will be taking on another round of rallying, jumping behind the wheel of a Clio Sport R3 Maxi at the Rallye du Var in France later this month.
