While Vettel and Hamilton were beating up on each other (depending on which one you ask), Paul was busy beating up on his fellow FBC staffers yet again. What was a twenty-three point lead following the Canadian Grand Prix grew a further six points in Azerbaijan thanks to Bottas’ last second pass of new boy Stroll. Had that pass not have been made, the gap between first and second actually would have shrunk, as Tony had picked the Finn to come home in third.

As it was, Tony was one of four staffers, along with Grace, Tom and J.P., to go scoreless this weekend. Tony and Tom both maintained their positions, however, as there was not a whole lot of scoring up and down the field, no thanks to the relatively odd finishing order. Todd and Dave both picked up two points via Palmer as First Out. Dave’s points helped him to consolidate sole possession of fourth place, while Todd’s moved him into fifth past Grace, who dropped two spots.

However, yet again, the four staffers in third through sixth have just four points between them. Andrew was able to close that gap back to seventh by way of correctly choosing both Bottas and Vettel, making him this week’s biggest scorer with nine points. Johnpierre, meanwhile, drops further adrift with his fifth straight scoreless race.
