The Formula Word Driver’s Championship is now sealed up, with Lewis Hamilton having taken his fourth title in Mexico. Paul has not yet done the same in the FBC staff championship, but it would take two race weekends full of miracles for Todd and Tom, in second and third positions respectively, to catch the International.
Seeing as how both of those two have chosen either the exact same podium or at least two of those three same positions, either would be hard pressed to make any real inroads this weekend in Brazil. In fact, the top four staffers have all gone with Lewis to win again this weekend.
You have to go back to Dave and Tony, tied for fifth position, before you find anyone going with someone other than the new champ. Tony is going withe the one time title contender Vettel, while Dave is thinking even more outside the box with Ricciardo. Danny’s Red Bull teammate Verstappen has been picked to finish on the podium by everyone but Tony.
Ocon continues his strong run of Top Six picks with half of the staffers taking him for either fifth or sixth spot, while Sainz and Alonso get one pick apiece for sixth. Those two also get a nod for First Out, as do Gasly, Hartly, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Stroll and, in his what will probably be his (second) last Brazilian Grand Prix, Massa. The title may be all but sealed up, but there are still some good battles in the midfield.
