In this episode of The Cambered Corner, I spoke to Director of the Mazda Road to Indy program, Jason Penix, about the changes seen in the program over the last couple of seasons, and how those changes are affecting the interest level and participation rates for the 2015 season.

We talk about the philosophy behind and the future of the Winterfest program, and the draw that program has for European drivers. Lastly, we wrap up the show discussing the new Indy Lights chassis and engine package, the trepidation some teams had about the new equipment, the draw the promise of new machines have for European formula teams such as Carlin, and the potential for future growth after this introductory season for the IL-15 and Mazda MZR-R engine.
