American fans of the award-winning documentary “Senna” will be able to download the film via iTunes and Netflix streaming this Tuesday, December 13. The award-winning documentary is set to be released on DVD in the United States on March 6. A release date for the film on BluRay for the US region has not been determined.

The story of the late Formula 1 driver Ayrton Senna, told through archival footage and in the words of Senna himself along with his contemporaries, has won the attention and praise of media and audiences worldwide. In addition to a major award at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, “Senna” has garnered a number of other accolades including recognition for “Pioneering and Innovation” at this year’s Autosport Awards.

That is kinda odd I think that they releases the online version before the DVD release and Blueray release? Ohh well.. Guess I can watch it again before they finally come out with the Blueray (supposed to have a lot of extras per Manish (might been Asif I don’t recall who told me now.. lol)

  • Tony Greene and both show the US release date for the DVD and BlueRay as December 20th. What’s the real story, morning glory?

I asked the media rep specifically about the Amazon and BestBuy offers and she said they are likely non-US-region versions.
